Over the years, he has delivered a significant number of solo concerts both in his home country and abroad, while forging powerful collaborations with extraordinary artists across diverse fields. These include the internationally acclaimed pianist Ashot Khachatourian , known for his rare and expressive interpretation, mastro Noorman Widjaja a conductor and pianist of the highest artistic caliber, the late Bekim Lumi, a genius visionary of modern and minimalist theatre and Nigar Hasib a remarkable vocalist, anthropologist and researche of the human voice. This deep and fearless engagement across musical and artistic boundaries has shaped LUAN s current sound: profoundly original, genre – defying and timeless.

Luan Durmishi is a singer – tenor, vocal coach, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist.He finished his studies as an opera singer, at the Academy of Music in Prishtina, Kosovo, in 2006. He was trained in a special vocal technique, initially for his own voice and later as a vocal coach, at the “Voce Doro institute” in the USA, in the class of soprano and vocal specialist Dorothy Stone.

Luan Durmishi has a career that spans more than 25 years, which features collaborations with Symphony Orchestras, world-renowned conductors, artists and composers, sach as, Noorman Widjaja, Ashot Khachatourian, Marcio da Silva, Eriks Esenvalds etc, local artists, with music spanning form classical to contemporary and all the way to work with conceptual artists, theater directors, as well as various theatre troupes spanning from minimalist to modern.

Luan Durmishi performed as a soloist in Kosovo, Albania, USA, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina, North Macedonia etc.
Some of the prestigious venues where he performed include the Theatre of the Opera and Ballet in Albania ( 2004,2009, 2023, 2024 ), “ Lalish “ Theatre in Vienna, Austria ( 2008 ), “ La Palace “ Theatre in Paris, France ( 2011 ), “ Mimara Museum”, Zagreb, Croatia ( 2012 ), “ La Mama “ Theatre in New York City ( 2018 ), “ Pfalzbau Theatre “ in Ludwigshafen, Germany ( 2019 ), North Macedonian Philharmonic Hall ( 2023 ), “ Santa Cecilia “, Music Conservatory in Rome ( 2024 ), The “ Marjan Kozina “ Philharmonic Hall, in Slovenia ( 2024 ), etc.

Luan Durmishi currently lectures at the University UBT in Prishtina, at the Faculty of Modern Music, Music Production & Audio Production and Management in the Vocal Performance department.
